LIGHTNESS
Cork is a very light raw material, weighing between 0.13 and 0.25 g/cm³. In addition, 90% of its volume is air.

ISOLATION
The unique composition of cork makes it an excellent sound, thermal and vibration insulator.

FLEXIBILITY/COMPRESSIBILITY
Since 90% of the volume of the cork is air, the cork can be compressed without losing its original shape and without losing flexibility.

IMPERMEABILITY
Cork is practically impermeable to liquids and gases.
